(1) From the A75 approaching Stranraer from the east, take the bypass signed 'Blackparks Industrial Estate' (Commerce Road). Follow this road all the way through to the road south from Stranraer to Sandhead and Portpatrick (the A77). Turn left onto the A77. At the second main turning to the right (just before the former railway bridge and just after the stables on the left hand side of the road) turn right into the road for Spoutwells Farm. Farm entrance is about 100 metres up the road on the right.

(2) Coming from the Ayr direction and from Cairnryan Ferry Terminal on the A77, turn left off the coast road just after reaching the 30MPH sign before Stranraer (beside Rephad Farm). Then carry on across the A75 until you reach the bypass, turning right and following the directions as in the above paragraph. Click on maps for larger viewpoint.

The nearby beach at Sandhead is family friendly. Spoutwells is a working farm. The area bounds in wildlife-filled woodlands, and Deer are prevelant. The view from Spoutwells Farm.
